Dance

Enrollment for the school year runs from September to May and all students should register at or near the beginning of the school year. The curriculum is based on the expectation that students will continue for the full year and participate in our May recital. Participation however is not mandatory and is an individual decision.

OUR PHILOSOPHY: Our mission is to provide a fun loving environment in which the students are taught to achieve their own unique abilities and talents. Our goal is to give every dancer a chance to experience all that the art of dance can provide. At Studio J it is just as important that your child becomes a good person as well as a great dancer. We will strive to create a “home-away-from-home” feeling for your child by providing dance instruction with positive feedback in a fun and energetic environment. By offering these things, every child feels important and can learn to express themselves through the art of dance. Training in dance increases motor skills, improves concentration, increases self-discipline and motivation, and allows for creative self-expression. As funding for fine arts education in the public schools declines, we are aware of how important it is that we provide this educational opportunity for your child.

CLASSES OFFERED: Tap, jazz, gymnastics, hip hop and ballet. Classes meet once a week for one hour

REGISTRATION and TUITION: There is an annual registration fee of $30 per person and $50 per family.
One class – $40/month
Two classes – $70/month
Three classes – $100/month
